As part of the EU’s push for digital sovereignty, DNS4EU has been launched—a privacy-compliant DNS resolver co-funded by ENISA and managed by a consortium of European organizations. It aims to reduce dependency on non-EU DNS infrastructure, enhance GDPR compliance, and strengthen user privacy across the bloc.
DNS4EU provides real-time regional threat intelligence. A malicious threat discovered in one country is blocked across multiple countries or regions, preventing its spread.
